I love filming adventure! This summer was incredible, filled with cliff jumping, rope swings, and hiking. Me and my buddies traveled to Belize, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico. Also Utah and Idaho :) Big shoutout to my drone camera man. This video wouldn't be possible without them. Drone Stories: Controlling Drones with Linux Coding Linux to control drones has been around for some time now, this video shows some detail ways to use Linux to control drones along with some cool ideas using hand gesture that can be adapted to flying drones. Open source Linux is a great way to control drones for hobbyist that is easy to learn and lowers cost of flying drones. The video is long but well worth the details of the two major sections from experts in the field of UAV's / Drones used for personal use and commercial drone use. I arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia after finishing an amazing Thailand trip. I was excited to be in Cambodia and I've heard many great things about Siem Reap. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world and was built in the 12th Century. Ta Prohm was more recently famous for the Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie and I was excited to check it all out! If you find yourself in Siem Reap and wanna see the town then please hit up my buddy "NGA" (My Tuk Tuk driver in this video). I had thousands of dollars of recording equipment and put all my trust into this kind stranger and he treated me like family and watched out for me and all my stuff. He is an awesome, kind family man that deserves the best!! Tell him Brad from California says hi and say you saw him in my video!! Best of travel...
This is the first footage I took from the little camera on the Code Black Drone. This thing is smaller than my palm but has incredible range and is very responsive. It is relatively cheap on the drone scale and definitely worth every penny. That is the 5 freeway you see in the background near the 5/55 split.
